Advanced Production module (DJ52026)
Advance your creative and technical practice in animation, visual effects, and visualisation. You will develop a resolved project alongside the professional competencies
Advanced Production gives you the space to develop a substantial piece of creative work in your chosen area. You'll define a research question, develop your practice through studio experimentation, and present your work in a final oral and visual presentation.
The module draws together technical skill and critical thinking. You'll take part in lectures, workshops, and masterclasses covering visual effects, computer animation, and data visualisation. A reflective blog running across the semester helps you track decisions and critically evaluate your process.
You'll work with peers in group critiques and take on self-directed study, applying research methods to your practice. By the end, you'll have a diversified portfolio of work presented with professional confidence.
